recurrence of Coyne's knee injury during pre-season saw him miss Saturday's opener with Leicester City. After missing today's training session, Sol Davis is likely to be out of the match as well. Sol picked up a leg injury during Saturday's win and was substituted. The injury problems mean that Leon Barnett will keep his place in the centre of defence after a superb performance and goal on Saturday. There will be selection problems at left-back with Sol and Unders injured. Newell will probably opt to push Lewis Emanuel back there, with either Dean Morgan or Ahmet Brkovic moving into the left-wing spot. As Emanuel caused problems for Leicester on the wing Saturday, this will be a blow for Newell and Luton, but hopefully he will have chances to push forward. Adam Boyd will probably be on the bench due to him being short of match fitness. The likely team to start tomorrow should be:

Beresford (GK), Emanuel (DL), Foley (DR), Heikkinen (DC), Barnett (DC), Edwards (MR), Robinson (capt) (MC), Langley (MC), Brkovic (ML), Feeney (SC), Vine (SC)

Sheffield Wednesday - Midfielder Chris Brunt may be forced to play up front for Sheffield Wednesday with Steven McLean due to an injury problem with players such as Marcus Tudgay and Deon Burton. Kenny Lunt may make his debut in midfield for Wednesday, and Lee Bullen may play if his red card against Preston is overturned.

Sheffield Wednesday had a good start to the season on Saturday. Although they didn't pick up three points, they earned a draw at last season's play-off semi-finalists Preston, and despite Prestion losing their manager and key players in the summer, it was a very good result.

Predicted Outcome
Although Sheffield Wednesday got an excellent result at Deepdale over the weekend and although it is their first home game, I am optimistic about Luton's chances now after Saturday's win. We played ok and still beat a Leicester team who were tipped to do well this season. In contrast, Sheffield Wednesday aren't expected to do much this season, but we shouldn't underestimate them, because if W*tf**d can win promotion from this league, then anyone can. I think a 2-0 win again for Luton with goals for Vine and Robbo. We've got a pretty good record against Sheffield Wednesday in recent years - I can't remember us losing to them in the last 3 or 4 seasons when we've played them in the league again.
