Coyne: May feature in Cardiff match
Team News
Luton - Luton are likely to keep the same side that battered Colchester 1-1 on Tuesday night. Chris Coyne is the only player who is likely to come back into the squad, as he is recovering from an injury. Coyne has been plagued with injury problems for some time now, so it is unlikely that Newell will risk starting him because Heikkinen and Barnett have impressed so much. Sam Parkin will keep his place in the team from hotshot Warren Feeney after scoring in the 1-1 massacre on Tuesday. He missed an open goal and blazed a one on one over the bar, but it's a start at least. Richard Langley will also play against his old club Cardiff City. Langley never really settled in his two seasons at Cardiff, according to the player himself. Maybe Langley will up his game against his old club, although he probably won't. Having said that, his second half against Colchester wasn't bad, apart from the penalty miss which was lucky to hit the bar.

Probable Team: Beresford (GK), Davis (DL), Foley (DR), Heikkinen (DC), Barnett (DC), Emanuel (ML), Robinson (capt) (MC), Langley (MC), Edwards (MR), Parkin (SC), Feeney (SC)

Cardiff - The main news for Cardiff is that Dutch defender Glenn Loovens will return to the Cardiff squad after missing the 3-3 draw against Plymouth Argyle through suspension. He will probably take the place of Roger Johnson at centre-half, although captain Darren Purse may instead make way. Cardiff have had an excellent start to the season under Dave Jones, despite losing star striker Cameron Jerome to Birmingham in the summer. Cardiff are second in the league with 14 points, three points and five places ahead of Luton. Having said that, Cardiff's recent form isn't brilliant. They lost 2-1 to Preston last Saturday and drew 3-3 with Plymouth Argyle after going 3-0 up. Nevertheless, a point at Plymouth is a good result and Luton will definitely have a tough test. On the bright side, Cardiff haven't beaten Luton in 8 attempts, not since 1981. Also, Tresor Kandol recently scored twice for Barnet against Cardiff, albeit most probably against a weakened Cardiff team, but if Luton misfit Kandol can then any Luton striker can (ok, maybe not Feeney).

Prediction
Despite somehow not managing to beat Colchester on Tuesday, our second half performance was nonetheless very very encouraging. If we can play like that tomorrow, then we should be ok. I think we'll get a 1-1 draw again, with Warren Feeney scoring his first of the season.
