Last Tuesday a mainly reserve side took on Arlesey Town in the final of the Beds Premier Cup, and despite the atrocious weather conditions the Hatters emerged 5-0 winners.
Ahmet Brkovic was the Hatters hero on the night scoring four of the goals, with Lee Mansell bagging the other. Brkovic actually scored six on the night but unfortunately had two disallowed.
The Town squad that night was: Seremet, Hillier, Perrett, Bayliss, Neilson; Keane, Hughes (sub Deeney), Leary, Mansell; Brkovic (sub Andrew), Blinkhorn. Unused subs: Barnett, Howell, Brill.
The second trophy success came when the Luton Under-18 side won the recent Watford Pro Tournament at Vicarage Road. On the way to victory the young Hatters drew 0-0 against the MK Dons, beat a team from Iceland (4-0), Coventry (3-0), a side from Columbia (4-0), and Brentwood Blast from the US (1-0).
Hopefully these trophy wins wont be the last this season!/fontfamily>
