Jon, who is a fully chartered physio as required by new league rules,
is no stranger to football. Before injury forced him to quit playing,
his professional playing career took him to Oldham, Port Vale, Wrexham
and Rochdale, and as a physio he has worked at Oldham and Doncaster
Rovers.
After a couple of years out of the game, Jon is pleased to be back in
football. He explained recently: "I've enjoyed the first few days
getting back into it. Hopefully we can keep the players all fit because
my job, and for that matter the managers job are a lot easier, because
he'll have more of a squad to choose from."
Jon had met Hatters boss Mike Newell before when he was at Doncaster
and Mike came in to the club. Last seasons physio, Paul Coleman, will
stay on at the club.
