The TiL committee have recently been debating the controversial issue of Wimbledon FC / MK Dons, and as TiL have commented, the decision on whether or not to go must ultimately be that of the individual. But the Trust have said that if you do plan to go to the game, but would like to express your disapproval, banners have been made by other Trusts which they will endeavour to borrow for your use. However if you decide not to go, it has been suggested that the money you would have paid at the gate at the National Hockey Stadium be donated to the Trust. This money would then go towards paying off the costs they incurred last year when rescuing the club from the clutches of John Gurney.
Town on Tour will be running coaches to the Fans' Stadium as AFC Wimbledon will be playing Dulwich Hamlet at the same time as Luton play MK Dons.
Since then the chairman of Luton Town, Bill Tomlins, has urged Hatters supporters to travel to the game. In his most recent column in the Hatters matchday magazine he said: "Whatever we as a Club, being the Directors, the players and the supporters think is right or wrong about how the two clubs [AFC Wimbledon and MK Dons] have fared in the political football arena, MK Dons position is a fact of life and a boycott will turn not the clock back."
He went on to say that as MK Dons are a member of League One of the Football League, we will be playing them at home and away, and that it is crucial to the players that the support at the away game is maximised.

A dilemma awaits Hatters fans.
