Tomorrow sees the already promoted Hatters travel to Wales for a St. George's Day trip to Wrectum, but victory tomorrow could have a more important outcome than an English team being victorious over a Welsh team.
It is possible that Luton could win Coca-Cola League One tomorrow with victory over the cash-strapped Welsh team, if Hull draw or lose at Walsall tomorrow. Even if the Hatters don't win, the worst case scenario will be that we are only two points clear with two games remaining. Living in Walsall, I have taken a particular interest in their team in recent years, and I can't see Hull slipping up tomorrow, even if the game does look like a potential banana skin; I can't ever remember Walsall doing us a favour by winning a match that we needed them to win, and although they have won their last two games, I'm pessimistic about them winning tomorrow.
If both teams win tomorrow, then Luton can confirm the title by beating Bentford at Kenilworth Road next week, or drawing the last two games of the season. However, victory is certainly not a forgone conclusion for tomorrows game, as Wrexham are fighting for their lives at the other end of the table, and although they won't be mathematically relegated if they don't win tomorrow, it looks as though there will be no way out for them if they don't, and as relegation could possibly mean extinction for the club in the summer, they will literally be fighting for their lives. Although all Luton fans will be hoping for a victory tomorrow to aid our Championship chances, I'm sure the majority will also be hoping that Wrexham survive to play league football next season, whichever division they're in.
