Team news for Saturday's clash with Donny Rovers

Mike Newell is likely to keep the same side that murdered MK Dons last Saturday for this weekends trip to last year's 3rd Division champions Doncaster Rovers.

Sol Davis and Ahmet Brkovic are both fit for the match despite both of them being substituted last week having sustained knocks. The only player out for the Hatters is central midfielder Steve Robinson, who has recently had a hernia operation. Mike Newell is hoping that goalkeeper Simon Royce will be fit after missing the MK clash with a shoulder injury, but he will have the tough task of competing with Marlon Beresford for the goalkeeping place.

If the Hatters score three or more goals against Rovers, then they will equal a club record set in 1967, the year that Luton won the Fourth Division championship. They broke the record by beating Saturday's opponents 5-3. And with Howard on top form, Vine among the goals again and Brkovic fit, the Hatters have got every chance of achieving the record. However, Doncaster will make it hard for the Hatters. Their top scorer is ex-Luton trainee Michael McIndoe, who went from Luton to Doncaster via Yeovil.
