The 20-year old midfielder has made 22 appearances so far in his Luton career (7 as sub), scoring twice. Tranmere Rovers have taken him on loan for a month after getting permission from the FA to sign a player outside of the transfer window due to injuries to midfielders, including Jason McAteer. In contrast to last season, Tranmere have had a terrible start to the season. They are currently second from bottom, as opposed to second behind Luton last season, showing how two teams' fortunes can change so quickly.
Tomorrow's team against Plymouth is likely to be unchanged. Kevin Nicholls is a doubt and will probably miss out with a foot injury, although he is taking a fitness test tomorrow. This means that Steve Robinson and the impressive Peter Holmes will continue in the centre of midfield. Holmes has transformed himself from the player he was last season, scoring twice already this season and making some superb performances. It's hard to believe that he is the same mediocre player who Kinnear signed five years ago. The rest of the team will probably be the same. Foley and Vine will probably be on the bench again, despite recoveries from their injuries. Feeney's goal and lively performance Tuesday will mean Vine will have to work hard to get back into the team.
Tony Pulis' Plymouth team have no injury worries - defender Anthony Barness will be available for selection again. Argyle currently lie 19th in the table after recently clawing themselves out of the relegation zone.
