Nicholls leaves Town after 5 years for Leeds

| Maybe his finest moment: A midfield inspired by Nicholls proved more than a match against Liverpool in the first-half. |

The 27-year old tough tackling midfielder has joined Leeds after being linked with clubs such as Stoke, Crystal Palace and Norwich. Nicholls has played over 200 games for Luton and scored over 30 goals, including a considerable number from the penalty spot and from free-kicks. Nicholls played an integral part in the club's promotion in 2001-02 to the Second Division, and was named Player of the Year for the title-winning campaign in 2004-05. His replacement in midfield will probably be recently signed Richard Langley. Nicholls made his last appearance for Luton in the Fulham friendly on Friday.
Everyone at Luton Town MAD would like to wish Kevin Nicholls the best of luck for the rest of his career and thank him for the exceptional contribution he made to Luton Town Football Club.
