The Trinidad and Tobago international missed out most of the pre-season campaign with a thigh injury but is likely to be in contention for Tuesday's match. Chris Coyne and Sol Davis are also likely to feature after missing out on the opening day victory at Crystal Palace. Marlon Beresford will still be out so Dean Brill will continue in goal, but it is thought that Marlon may be back for the Leeds match on Saturday.
Brett Ormerod is doubtful for Southampton, so Ricardo Fuller and Kenwyne Jones are likely to start up front for Harry Redknapp's men. Jones scored against Luton last season while on loan at Sheffield Wednesday. Claus Lundekvam is definitely out through suspension after being sent off in Southampton's opener at home to Wolves. One player that Mike Newell's men will need to beware of is 16 year old Theo Walcott. The midfielder became Southampton's youngest ever player on Saturday after coming off the bench and impressed. However, Theo is probably not going to start and may have to settle for another appearance off the bench.
