The experienced keeper is still recovering from a stubbed toe and also looks likely to miss the home match with Southampton next Tuesday. Apart from Bez, the only other player definitely out is Calvin Andrew, who has moved to Grimsby Town on a months loan. The arrival of Dean Morgan and Rowan Vine at Luton have meant that Calvin is now the sixth choice striker, so the move comes as no real surprise.
It is unclear what part the new signings will play in tomorrow's opener. Carlos Edwards missed most of the pre-season matches through injury or being away on international duty and will be lacking match fitness, so it is likely that Paul Underwood will keep him out of the first eleven. There are also four strikers battling for one place up front - Feeney, Vine, Morgan and Showunmi are all in contention for playing up front with Steve Howard. The most likely starter is Feeney or Vine, with Morgan on the bench.
Crystal Palace have just one player ruled out. Aki Riihiliati is definitely out, and their three new signings Darren Ward, Jobi McAnuff and Jonathan Macken are all likely to feature.
