Brill linked with Pool

It has been reported in the North West that the Reds are looking to take the Hatters young shot stopper on a weeks trial with a view to signing him on a permanent deal should the trial go well.

The Luton born youngster has made five appearances including one as sub so far for the Hatters first team, all coming last season, but since the return of Marlon Beresford and the arrival of Dino Seremet he has slipped back down the pecking order.

A tall, commanding goalkeeper standing over six foot tall, Brill is a great organiser, with exceptional handling and concentration. He is very highly regarded by members of the coaching staff at Luton Town, and clearly by others on Merseyside.
