Another midfielder signs on loan, striker on the way?

The midfielder in question is Marc Wilson from Portsmouth. Wilson is a surprising signing by Kevin Blackwell, not just because it is another midfielder we have. Marc Wilson is 20 years old and 6ft 2, so he is also a lot bigger than the rest of the team. The midfielder joins Spring, Robinson, Bell, Edwards, Currie, Hutchinson, McVeigh, O'Leary, Emanuel and possibly Brkovic (if Blackwell ever notices him) as a midfielder at Luton. To be fair to Blackwell, Steve Robinson and David Edwards will miss Saturday's trip to Walsall because of international call-ups, so Wilson will probably go straight into central midfield (he can play wide left and central midfield apparently). After all, you wouldn't want to face a team with Hutchinson in midfield.
Wilson has played for Bournemouth already on loan this season. Bournemouth are currently 22nd in the league this year, so the signing is ideal because Wilson will already have experience of playing for a struggling team in this division. Meanwhile, Blackwell is also trying to bring in a loan striker (which should really have been his priority) to replace Furlong who is sidelined for two weeks (and then a further two weeks when he is brought back too early). Other loan signing Coleslaw Fojut is also injured, so for Saturday's match we are short of players across the field. Good luck Marc Wilson.
