Luton are expected to unveil a new manager at 4pm today, although judging by the timing of recent announcements it'll be sometime in the evening tonight.
The expected appointment is former Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell, who managed Leeds United earlier in the season. Other names in the frame include Phil Parkinson, Mick Harford and possibly Brian Stein's promotion as manager. Apparently, Bill Tomlins was interested in appointing Mike Newell as the new manager, until John Mitchell phoned him on his yacht in the Caribbean and informed him that Luton had just sacked him.
